Wilshire Ebell Theater (Theatre) Wedding

The Wilshire Ebell Theater (Theatre) is a great location for a wedding. Located on Wilshire and Lucerne (west of Crenshaw), the location allows you to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, which has added benefits of keeping the location and supplies at one spot. Weddings at the Wilshire Ebell Theater can take advantage of the beautiful look and feel of the location, letting the history of the Wilshire Ebell Theatre add to the texture of any wedding.

The outside courtyard is deceptively large and can hold a large number of guests. One bit of advice is to have the fountain turned off during the ceremony if you plan on recording your vows. The reception hall is large with beautiful columns arching into the high, vaulted ceiling. The Wilshire Ebell Theater will handle most of your arrangements on site, making your wedding easier to manage.

Los Angeles River Center & Gardens

The Los Angeles River Center & Gardens (click here for official site) is actually a state park that rents out to special events. Book this one way in advance, or find a wedding organizer that has a day booked already. The buidlings are reminiscent of old Spanish missionary architecture, with nearly every nook and cranny having its own historical texture. With plenty of plants (palms trees, flowers, and the like), the surroundings are fresh and earthy, with two fountains that center the location. Large wooden doors and decorative metal gates will make most photographers ecstatic from the wonderful photo opportunities. The Los Angeles River Center & Gardens is a wonderful "isolated" location, making you completely forget that Interstate 5 is screaming by only a few hundred feet outside.

Wedding Videography - Orange County
