Other Wedding Vendors that I recommend

Videographers, Photographers, Planners

Wedding Photographers

Please feel free to see my wedding photography tips.

Gavin Photography

Wedding photography

Yes, I'm also a wedding photographer! I am much less experienced than the following photographers, but that also means I appeal to those on a limited budget. Like my videography, I am candid and photojournalistic. Please view my galleries to see my work.

Furious Photographers

Edgier, younger, and fresher, these two guys (both UCLA grads) are photojournalists with a fun and unobtrusive approach. Most of their packages include digital negatives and I personally love their photos. Just look at their galleries and you'll see what I mean.

Cherie Steinberg Cote

With an amazing eye, sparkling personality, and 20+ years of uncomparable experience, Cherie never ceases to amaze me. I classify her under artistic photography, where her website demostrates her ability to make art out of wedding pictures. I know of brides that are in love with her photography.

Marc Weisberg

Professional. Meticulous. Friendly. Marc is the quintessential wedding photographer and after seeing him work you would want no less for your own wedding. I truly admire his art and his presence at a wedding. He is based out of Newport Beach.

Steve Hoffmann

Steve, originally an english school teacher, is a really cool guy. He catches photographic moments with clarity and emotion, but does it without getting in your way. Very professional and very relaxed, Steve is great as a low intensity, high performance photographer. Steve also does destination wedding photography in Mexico

Ben Chen

Ben Chen is a new-comer to weddings with a background of 30 years of photojournalistic experience. Ben has a different view through his lens, capturing the events as a journalistic memory instead as a an artistic painting. His sports pics are amazing.

Wedding Videographers

Daniel Boswell of DVArtistry

Great videography combined with a great personality, this is one of the few videographers I feel comfortable recommending. Experienced and proficient, ask him about his "same day edits," which will blow you and your reception attendees away.

DJs

Frank from Aspen Entertainment

His website sucks, but his performance is great. He genuinely cares about his clients and the vendors he works with. Cool guy that owns his own company with full-time DJ's underneath him. Give him a call to find out what I mean.

Wedding Planners

Cathy Cheng

Starting out like me (still holds her day job), Cathy plans for weddings as a weekend passion. She genuinely cares for each and every one of her brides. Her personality is amazing, and you would be amazed at how much money and time (which is also money) she can save you. Great planner that can work with budgets from unlimited to ... well, very limited.

Cakes

City Cat Cakes

I'm actually videotaping her wedding, but that's not the reason I recommend her. I love her designs and overall style, which is of course my personal taste. Give it a gander and see what you think...
