    • You may not be able to hear it, but this is a perfect example of why audio is important. The venue had forgotten to turn off the fountain, which was right behind the bride and groom. Only using a boom microphone, my audio was drowned out! I had run the audio through many filters to pull the water out and keep the important parts. Now, my equipment is setup to avoid pitfalls such as this, while also double checking with the venue to make sure things go smoothly. Using a wireless transmitter, I either jack into the sound board or use a lavalier mic (the kind that you clip on your shirt for an interview).
